Maine Coon Cats are the gentle giants of the cat world. These wonderful creatures enjoy the company of humans and consider it their responsibility to assist and manage in any task performed in the household.

They are large cats, the males can easily reach 20lbs, but this does not stop them from settling down happily for a nap on any available lap or keyboard.

They often use their paws in the same way that humans use their hands. They will catch a toy or treat as it flies past and they will use paws to scoop up food or water from their dishes. A cuddled Maine Coon may also reach up to gently touch the face of their human.
