I offer clients a chance to see things from their pet's perspective, to understand their animal's way of thinking, uncover misunderstood feelings, behaviors and discomforts. Reversing this role, I help the animals understand their caretaker's viewpoints, needs, feelings and desires. In complement to this, I have much experience with the rehabilitation and training of behaviorally challenged animals and with the psychology of complex relationships between various types of animals within one household.

Lots has been written now about animal communication. There are dozens of books on the subject, each offering a slightly different approach. Some are more accessible than others. But basically animal communication is the utilization of psychic technology and unless this is complemented by a thoughtful and considerate translation, communication between animal and caretaker can either be enhanced or hindered.

In the translation process between two humans of different cultures, the translator has not only studied the languages of both parties, but also their cultures. Animal communication should be no different. An understanding of the cultures of the many types of humans and the many types of animals on the part of the translator is directly beneficial to promoting open channels between parties. In the ideal situation, the animal translator is not only a conduit but an educator, awakening awareness in each party of the other's culture and viewpoint.
