Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue is located in Vancouver B.C. We place kittens and kittens with moms in foster homes and adopt them out to indoor homes once they are old enough.

We have been a registered charity for 3 years. Last year we brought in over 500 kittens and 67 adult cats. We trap street cats humanely when contacted about pregnant and nursing cats and also take underage kittens that need care from shelters. We have people who can bottle feed as well as care for ill kittens. By keeping groups in seperate foster homes, we avoid infectious illnesses that can wipe out underage kittens so quickly in a shelter. All food and supplies are provided as well as vet care. We are a no-kill rescue.

We have a thorough adoption application and will not adopt to outdoor homes or people that will declaw. All kittens are adopted with a certificate for shots, check-up, spay/neuter and tattoo by 5 months. We fundraise constantly to cover our costs above what we receive in adoption fees. Our goal is to encourage spay/neuter early in kittens lives and to help stop the suffering of kittens and cats on the streets.
