An Oscar For Kitty is one of those select books that appears only occasionally; this one is worth the wait. You don't have to own a cat to enjoy it, although doing so, entitles you to an extra bonus. Each one of the photographs is a winner in itself, and the captions act like Catnip to titillate the mind.

Of the more than thirty million U.S. cats back in the 1970's (sixty-five million reported at present) the author's search for feline talent began and ended with Kitty, a born ham, who was the most cooperative model that he had ever encountered. Kitty was purchased at a pet shop for $1.00 with the intentions of returning her to the owner because of his hectic lifestyle, and as things turned out, Kitty found a permanent home for sixteen more purring years.
