A very intelligent breed and easily trained to do tricks. I would have to agree with someone’s statement that the British Shorthair is the closest thing to a dog there is still very much a cat! I love the British Shorthair.
Nothing can be more striking than that light blue coat with those big round deep copper orange eyes. What a striking combination! That to me is what a true British Shorthair should be. This wonderful breed of cat had to be maintained and promoted.
