Maui's homeless and abandoned kitties get another chance thanks to 9th Life-Hawaii, a non-profit 501 (C)3 organization dedicated to implementing compassionate cat control in Hawaii. Our mission is to provide the resources and information our community needs to humanely tackle the huge problem of feral and unwanted cats that thrive in our tropical conditions. By promoting well managed cat colonies and providing free access to spay/neuter services and medical care, 9th Life is determined to make Maui a better place to be a cat!

Our most challenging (and rewarding) project is our No-Kill Sanctuary, located on 6 acres in Haiku. This beautiful property is home to over 150 healthy, happy cats who would have faced euthanasia or abandonment if we had not provided refuge. We are very proud of our Kitty Paradise and the hard work we put into providing a place for these rescued cats to live in comfort while we search for loving homes. There are many challenges involved in such an operation, and we always welcome volunteers and financial supporters to help us maintain the high standards of care and attention that have made the 9th Life Hawaii Sanctuary a one-of-a-kind No-Kill Shelter.
