Hello! My name is Jan Raffaele, and my passion has always been about cats! I have a particular fondness for ferals and strays and my store, Tomcat Boutique, honors and pays tribute to homeless cats who struggle to survive in an environment where their suffering is largely ignored. Part of the proceeds from the sale of my hand-crafted cat items in Tomcat Boutique support the spay and neuter of ferals and strays and advocacy for TNR (trap-neuter-return). It is my great hope that someday the round-up and euthanasia of ferals and strays will end and TNR will become standard practice. |
I'm not sure how I got to the point of collecting over 750 different cat fabrics - in fact, I was initially clueless that SO MANY cat fabrics existed! But I am certainly hooked, and I have traveled from east to west "cat fabric" shopping. It's been great fun!
