At UTurn Studios, pet photography is not a sideline– its our specialty. UTurn was founded by photographer April Turner, who combines a love of animals with a passion for professional, creative photography. Our studio is built to be pet-friendly, and we also offer on-location "comfort-zone" sessions at your pet's favorite place. We stop at no limit in creating beautiful portraits that capture the true personality of our subjects.

Your session with UTurn Studios will be laid-back and fun, and you are guaranteed to come away with some great memories and photographs you will treasure for a lifetime. We offer in-studio and on-location sessions to acommodate every situation. Your session can feature photos of your pet alone, with other pets, with family members or any combination of these. There's no pet too large or too small...we're happy to work with any breed or type of animal.

Before booking a session, many of our clients worry that their pet won't hold still or won't be cooperative for the photos. We say – relax! Photographer April Turner has a true interest in animal behavior and uses this knowledge to bring out the star quality in your pet. By the end of the session, most pet's have taken on a "supermodel" attitude and don't want it to be over! So far, we haven't met an animal we couldn't photograph and we love a challenge.
