Gryphonwood kittens are raised underfoot in our family home with children and our dog. For the first 8 weeks they are handled daily and stay with Mom in their nursery room. After their first set of vaccinations they come down stairs to our kitchen/family room where they become well socialized and used to the everyday bustle of the comings and goings of family life. Our kittens are completely litterbox trained, scratch post trained, happy, confident little souls fully ready to become your pet. We believe that allowing kittens to become independant of their mothers at their own pace is necessary for the development of confident, well socialized adults and is crucial in preventing behavioural issues in the future. Gryphonwood kittens can be viewed and reserved after 8 weeks, but do not leave until 16 weeks. All our kittens leave spayed/neutered, with age appropriate vaccinations, complete worming, veterinarian certificate of health, litter or individual registration with the CFA and/or CCA, pedigree, detailed health record & information package, kitten starter kit and a pet contract describing both your responsibilities and our obligations to the kitten and to our new pet owners. We have made a promise to your kitten for the rest of its life and will be there to help should you need us.
We prefer to meet our babies new families in person and have you escort your kitten to its new home - so we do not ship pet kittens unattended. |
