 If you mix in the needs of homeless cats in the United States and throughout the world, add in a community of cat lovers who meet electronically on a daily basis on the forums of this website, you have the basic ingredients for the pet project. That project? Two cookbooks entitled "Cooking With Cattitude." Where the members from across the globe have assembled their favorite recipes for both humans and pets in this impressive 150 page collection in Volume I, and 200 pages of even more wonderful recipes in the BRAND NEW Volume II.

 Not only the love of cats, but also the love of cooking drew many to contribute to this cookbook where ALL proceeds will go directly to an animal charity. While the animal victims of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster have fallen from the headlines, the members of www.TheCatSite.com forums voted to contribute the moneys from this years’ sales to benefit a shelter in southern Mississippi.

 Cooking With Cattitude, Volume I was first put together in 2003, spearheaded by an industrious and well organized member, MomofMany. Volume II has been a more collective effort of the site in 2006. In both of these efforts, it was the time and efforts of the membership that make these books possible.
At the core of the project was always the underlying theme to help cats in shelters maintain their comfort level. The cookbook is set-up as a downloadable format, so there is zero overhead to cover. We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor.
