Focus on Feline - Cat Photo Contest

Please read the rules carefully before submitting a picture. Submitting a picture by email indicates that you have read the rules and agree with them.

1. You must be the photographer or you have the photographer's written consent to submit the photo. You also must own the cat and if you do not, you must provide the email address and name of the owner with the photo. We will contact the owner for permission to accept the photo.

2. Photos must be of good, clear quality (black and white or color) and should be at least 640 pixels by 480 pixels in size (larger is better) and with the jpg file extention. We are looking for the best in cat photography and will only accept photographs that comply with this requirement.

3. We can only accept email Entries ( if you do not have digital images of your photos on your computer, most Wal-Mart's, Kinko's and similar stores will scan them to floppy disc for you at a very low price).

4. Photos that include any names, advertising logos or markings on them will not be accepted.

5. Your submission is for display purposes by Meowhoo.com on the Focus on Felines contest. We may also use them in other Meowhoo.com publications such as wallpapers and screensavers.

6. If you have 5 cats, you may send us 5 emails, but Please submit only one photo per email. Make sure that you include the following information: Your full name, Your location (State or Country), name of the cat or cats and the story behind the picture. If you are not the owner of the cat, please include the owner's name and email address and let them know that we will be seeking their authorization to accept the photo.

7. All contestants authorize Meowhoo.com to place a caption with the published photo, which includes your Name, State or Country, the name of the cat.

8. Meowhoo.com reserves the right to add to or change these contest rules without prior notification. All changes will be noted in this page and be available at any time.

9. The winner will be notified by email and must confirm their shipping address in order to receive the prize.

Please send all photos to: photocontest@meowhoo.com. Make sure that you send only one image per email and that you include Your full name, Your location (State or Country) and name of the cat or cats in the email.
